Huw Birkhead to take the Tough Mudder Challenge
The very best of luck to Huw Birkhead who is taking the Tough Mudder challenge on 5th October 2013 to raise money for the Foundation.
The Tough Mudder challenge is a 10 to 12 mile military style obstacle course including electric shocks and ice pools.
Huw says “As some of you may know I have been working as a 1 to 1 class room assistant in a local primary school.
The little boy I have been working with has Smith-Magenis Syndrome and I have decided that I would like to raise money for the charity that he is linked with. Any donations would be gratefully received! Thank you!!!"

Good luck to Alex Atkins in this weekend’s Cotswold Triathlon taking place on Sunday 8th September.
Alex says “I'm raising money for the Smith Magenis Syndrome Foundation by completing the forthcoming Cotswold Triathlon. Ben Middleton is my inspiration; hopefully I can complete the distance and earn a hug from the big man.
The charity does fantastic work in supporting those with the syndrome and their families. It’s a small charity so you can be sure that every pound donated will go to good use. So please dig deep and help this fantastic charity.”
Set in the Cotswold Country Park the race includes 750m swim, 20k bike and to finish a 5k run.
